COMPREHENSIVE BACKGROUND CHECK
- Contact and interview current and previous landlords.
- Personal contact and detailed interviews with former employers, supervisors, friends, references, relatives, professors, teachers, alumnae, neighbors, etc.
- Background check on spouses, relatives, business partners, and
- Interview of plaintiffs and defendants from any civil cases found.
- Detailed review and copies of any bankruptcy filings found.
- Dunn and Bradstreet reports on any Corporations found.
- Complete Internet search including news articles, web sites, .pdf files and any other indexed records (includes some public bulletin boards)
Prospective Employee Authorization to Release Personal Information
The following or equivalent must be attached to the job applicant's application and must be signed and dated:I hereby authorize EMPLOYER to use the personal information I have provided herein to obtain a copy of my credit history, verify my work history, obtain a copy of my driver's license record, and perform a criminal and/or civil investigation into my personal and professional background.
I further certify that all of the information provided herein is true and correct. And, I understand and agree that any false information given can be grounds for EMPLOYER to deny or terminate my employment.

- Gladding & Michel performs its investigations in compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws. Some of the services described in the foregoing are only available under very specific circumstances. Please contact us directly so that we can determine if your specific circumstances constitute a legitimate purpose under law for the performance of the services you require.
EMPLOYMENT LAW
- Pursuant to CA Labor Code Section 432.7, we do not report arrest or detention that did not result in conviction.
- Pursuant to CA Civil Code Section 1786.18, we only report records of criminal conviction up to seven years beyond the last day of the subject's parole.
