Background checks may be individually customized so that only information which is pertinent to each specific applicant, employee, or subject is collected.  Some of the services listed below are not available without the written consent of the subject. 

When performed on prospective or current employees, unless there is evidence of fraud or other wrongdoing, these services require the applicant or employee's written consent.

11)            County Criminal Record Check – felonies and/or misdemeanors

16)            Federal Bureau of Prisons – nationwide

17)            Nationwide outstanding warrants (useful but not always complete)

DETAILED BACKGROUND CHECK  

 

1)                 Extra years (more than 10)  for criminal or civil records checks

2)                 Detailed results including copies of specific civil or criminal case files

3)                 Professional License Histories including any complaints filed

4)                 Professional Background Verification

5)                 Educational Background Verification

6)                 Workers Compensation Claims Filed against previous employers

7)                 Copies of Any Official Documents Identified.

COMPREHENSIVE BACKGROUND CHECK  

1)                 Contact and interview current and previous landlords.

2)                 Personal contact and detailed interviews with former employers, supervisors, friends, references, relatives, professors, teachers, alumnae, neighbors, etc.

3)                 Background check on spouses, relatives, business partners, and

4)                 Interview of plaintiffs and defendants from any civil cases found.

5)                 Detailed review and copies of any bankruptcy filings found.

6)                 Dunn and Bradstreet reports on any Corporations found.

7)                 Complete Internet search including news articles, web sites, .pdf files and any other indexed records (includes some public bulletin boards)

Prospective Employee Authorization to Release Personal Information

The following or equivalent must be attached to the job applicant's application and must be signed and dated:

I hereby authorize EMPLOYER to use the personal information I have provided herein to obtain a copy of my credit history, verify my work history, obtain a copy of my driver's license record, and perform a criminal and/or civil  investigation into my personal and professional background.

I further certify that all of the information provided herein is true and correct. And, I understand and agree that any false information given can be grounds for EMPLOYER to deny or terminate my employment.
